Second string face tough test at championship chasers

Walkington AFC vs Hall Road Rangers Reserves
Saturday March 11
Humber Premier League Division One
Broadgates, 2pm

Match preview by Neil Winsor

HALL Road Rangers Reserves will be keen to return to action this Saturday despite a daunting scheduled trip to second placed Walkington.
Following last Saturday's postponment at Westella & Willerby it has been a fortnight since the heavy defeat at leaders Hornsea Town, and with three games in hand, Walkington are the only team able to catch a Hornsea side looking to return to clinch the title.
Hall Road were showing considerable improvement, remaining unbeaten in four games prior to that defeat and with five games remaining only four points seperate Rangers at the foot of the table in eleventh and Driffield Evening Institute in sixth.
The second string must travel to Howden AFC (10th), Westella & Willerby (9th) in their remaining games.
They will also likely have to play the re-arranged game with Bridlington Town Reserves again, following that game's abandonment at half time.
