Hall Road Rangers will travel to the Euronics Ground, Barton Upon Humber on Saturday to face second from bottom Westella and Willerby. Formerly Westella VIP, Leon Sewell’s men have got off to a poor start this season having lost their first four league fixtures and being knocked out of the League Cup at the first round.
Dave Ricardo’s Ranger’s by comparison sit in seventh spot with two out of three wins from their opening league fixtures and are through to the third round of the league cup.
“Saturday gives us an ideal opportunity to get back on the horse and get 3 points.” said Ricardo ”Due to the Bank Holiday we are missing a large number of players but I’m sure Westella are in the same position.”
“They will be fighting for their lives in order to get points on the board so the 14 we have representing the club will need to be at their best in order to secure the win.”
“New signing Brad Ricketts is a great addition to the team especially with recent injury to James Piercy. Brad's quality will shine through as the season progresses. From a management team perspective we are looking for a professional performance, if we do that the result will take care of itself.”
Kick off against Westella and Willerby will be 3pm at the home of Barton Town Old Boys.
