A big welcome to a brave man, as Sean Purcell takes on the Head coaching role for the Templars Touch team, marking a huge landmark in Templar history as they introduce a competitive element to what has been, since 2018, a purely social endeavour.
Sean comes to the club with quite a pedigree having played for East Coast Panthers Touch Rugby. He’s the owner of Future Makers Rugby, a touch rugby coaching and league operating business. A qualified Touch Coach holding Level 1 and Level 1 Bridging Coaching qualifications as well as being a former 15s player and referee.
On the eve of the touch team’s 7th anniversary, how far can we go...?
If you’re interested in playing touch, whether an experienced player or totally new to the game, you’ll be welcome every Monday from 6:45 at Halstead Templars Rugby Club, Courtauld Sports Ground, Colchester Road, or get in touch via our social media pages.
