Halstead managed to beat visitors oprington two weeks in a row after a convincing 10-0 win, The first half began well with Fred Dillon winning a penalty which Dan Chick converted and Scott Howard and Fred Dillon both scoring good solo goals. The defense didnt have much work to do and looked confortable all game apart from one moment in the game where oprington managed to score just before half time but was given off side. Halstead came out in the second half making two subs which saw Scott Howard and Tony Halliday make way for Luke Clark and Ben Chick. Ben and Luke both made an immediate impact with both scoring, Ben also managed to add three other goals to his tally and Fred managed to complete his hatrick mid way through the half to cap an excellent personal and team performance.
