Congratulations to Kira who has made it into the England U18 squad.

Kira Leat started playing for Havant RFC at u13. She was a regular at the club from the age of 5 watching both her brothers play. She continued through with the girls to u15.

She represented Hampshire at u15 & u18 where she played prop and back row. In 2020 at 15 years old she was part of Wasps Centre of Excellence.

At 16 Kira went to Hartpury College in Gloucestershire for her studies and is currently in the Hartpury Academy and part of Gloucester-Hartpury Centre of Excellence.

She was selected to trial with England Talent Development Group in August 2021 and has been attending u18 trial camps up until December where a North v South game took place in Birmingham.

Grassroots rugby has been pivotal to Kiras development and Kira is still in touch with her Havant teammates and likes to attend the u18s training sessions when she’s back home from College.

She is delighted with her selection into the England u18 squad and is looking forward to training for the International games coming up in February and April.
