Men’s 1s in action in Terrassa, Spain, starting with a showdown against Mannheimer HC

This Easter, the Men's 1s return to the EuroHockey League (EHL) for four days of elite hockey against Europe's best teams in Terrassa, Spain.

HWHC will be playing three games in four days as part of a knockout tournament, starting with a game against Mannheimer HC, before further games against other clubs depending on results from the weekend.

The first game will start at 15:30 Friday 15 April, and will be the third time in three tournaments that HWHC has met Mannheimer in the EHL. Previous games between the teams have been the best of the rounds, with tight games going the death - including shuttles in October 2021. You can watch the highlights of the first game, from October 2019, here.

A contingent of HWHC fans will travelling to Barcelona, but even if you aren't able to make it then the club will be gathering at the Carlton to watch Friday's game - we can't wait to see you there!

HOW CAN I FOLLOW HWHC IN TERRASSA?

We will be watching the first game on Friday 15 April at the Carlton, starting at 15:30 GMT, to cheer for our boys as a group with drinks on tap! More details will be shared in due course.

However, if you aren't able to make it to the Carlton, then you can watch any of the games online via the EuroHockey website or via the EHL website, though please note you may have to pay to access streams of the games.

All HWHC's games, as well as others games from Terrassa or from Amsterdam (where another EHL tournament is taking place in parallel), will be streamed via the websites above.

WHAT HAPPENS IF HWHC GO ALL THE WAY?

This is a ranking cup, where each club can win extra ranking places for their respective nation. While there may not be a trophy, this tournament will bring huge kudos if HWHC do well with some of the biggest clubs in the EHL's history (such as Rotterdam HC and Mannheim HC).

Best of luck to our boys, all the club are behind you this weekend!
