The club are delighted to announce the return of former Beavers fan favourite Dean Inman, who today reached a mutual agreement with Kingstonian over the remainder of his contract.
Dean spent part of last season on the books of K’s, following his transfer from the Beavers divisional rivals, Billericay Town, in November 2018.
The popular central defender started life with Brentford before joining the Beavers in August 2010. After leaving Hampton to join Hayes & Yeading FC in 2013, he then joined Maidenhead Utd in 2015 and teamed up once more with Hampton legend Alan Devonshire. He then moved to Billericay Town n 2017.
Speaking this afternoon, after putting pen to paper, Dean said “I’m very happy to be back at my local club where my journey started nearly 10 years ago.
“I’ve spoken to Gary in length over the summer and was really impressed with the plans he has for the next few seasons. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the pitch as a Hampton player again and seeing where the season takes us.”
Dean is expected to make his first appearance back in the red & blue in this evening’s game against Chesham United, and his experience will be invaluable for the defence in future months.
Gary was pleased to have signed Dean to the Beavers. “It has taken a long time and a lot of hard work to make this happen. Dean has taken the football route over financial considerations to come to us and I would like to pay tribute to him for that. He has had to bend a lot to do this deal.”
Welcome back, Dean!!
