Bez's route to becoming an RFU qualified coach at the club is fairly typical. An ex player, he brought his son along to try rugby and quickly decided he wanted to do more than just watch.
He started to help out with the coaching and, in line with the club's coaching policy, he took the first step and attended an RFU Rugby Ready course.
Realising he wanted to become a better coach he signed up for the ERCA course , which has replaced the older Level 1 and Level 2 programmes, and has spent 3 full days over a 2 week period attending, and passing the course.
He says that the course has been excellent for helping him to understand the whole approach to coaching and developing all kinds of players.
Whilst this qualification applies to full adult rugby as well, Bez is looking to take all he has learnt into the Harrow U9 squad to develop all our players.
Thanks to Bez for his commitment to the sport and the club!
