Harrow RFC is partnering with Salvatorian College to develop and encourage rugby for youth players and we kicked off with a joint session on Thursday. The Harrow players were mixed with Salvatorian players into teams for some games of touch after a joint warm up and skills exercises.
Harrow coaches led the session and the club ensured the boys got a real Harrow welcome with a traditional hotdog afterwards!
Rob and Ed from the Saracens Foundation came along as they will also be involved in supporting the Saracens/Harrow RFC partnership as we work with local schools
Adrian Creamer, Head of PE and Year 7 at Salvatorian College thanked the club "Thank you for a wonderful experience for our boys yesterday. It was great to see so many involved and we look forward to working more with you both."
We are now planning a programme with the school to start in September and the Salvatorians lads can't wait to get into some contact rugby!
