Busy morning at Harrow Rugby Football Club. The U7s hosted Old Grammarians (OGs) this week with kickoff from just after 10am. A joint warmup game or two and we organised ourselves for 3 matches.
A good opportunity to work on match rules and team work this week. 16 or so OGs provided good teams for the 3 matches with Harrow U7s. All the player from both sides were working on their match skills such as tagging/passing, finding space, and scoring tries on their feet. Plenty of tries and tags for Harrow, lots of happy players. Both sides got the chance to work as a team and support the other side when they did well. Very pleased with the Harrow teams approach, support for each other and on field skills throughout. Parents, you've done well!
The bulldog honors went to Leo this week; in the final pass he made it through 35-40 kids, 10 parents, and 6 coaches! Players of the week awards went to Veer for excellent tagging then quick passing to his team, Brian for excellent passing and team work. We saw some super boots this week from Leo, Malachi, and Theo.
