Harrow U15s resplendent in their new shirts took on Haringey on a cold but bright morning. Both sides had a healthy 20+ squad and Harrow looked like they were going to continue their recent impressive run with two early Masa tries following good work along the back line. Near total dominance in the Haringey half failed to produce any further scoring but we went into HT with a 10-0 advantage.
In the second half a combination of silly decisions when attacking the opponents try line and some good defending by Haringey meant that Harrow failed to get the all important next score and we were made to pay with a break away try and conversion.
Harrow held a narrow 10-7 lead going into the final 10 mins, but again poor decision making meant Haringey raced clear twice more.
Plenty to learn and build on going forward. Final score Harrow 10 Haringey 19
