Harrow have numbers but not the know-how

The Under 14s started the season with a promising squad, but including a number who had never played a game before, and many more having to play out of position.

The match started excellently, with David breaking away for a fine score and Adam being put in under the posts after great interplay from Asher, Tom and Jamie. But lack of time to gel as a team, and with inexperienced players getting their first taste of game time, Stevenage/Hertford came back strongly and finished comfortable victors.

A second half try from Connor following a great run by Joel which drew a penalty suggested a comeback might be on, but the opposition proved too strong.

Back to the training ground and the tackle bags before the next fixture.
