Central defender Ben Tricker, who originally joined Boro on loan from Fulham in December 2019 before signing permanently last summer, becomes manager Steve Baker's lastest signing for the 2021/22 season.

Steve Baker said "Despite being only 20 years old, Ben shows real leadership skills and is a real strong character in the changing room. He was the obvious choice for the captains role and I genuinely think it will improve him as a player as well"
