Following a conversation between James and manager Steve Baker this week, the club have agreed to cancel his contract and he has signed for Kings Langley.
Steve Baker said, 'I can’t speak highly enough of James since he joined the club. His goal scoring achievements last season are the best in my time at the club. Not only did they help with a good league campaign, he played a huge part in getting us to the 1st round against Portsmouth in the FA Cup, notably with a hat-rick against Chelmsford in the 4th qualifying round. Memories we will treasure for ever!'
'His attitude has been first class and we’ve had a great relationship during that time. Due to his work and home relocation in the summer the travelling has put a real strain on him and it was decided a move was the best option all round. On behalf of everyone at the club I would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future'.
James added, 'I want to start by saying how much I’ve enjoyed my time at Harrow and I can’t thank Steve and his staff enough for my time here. I’ve made some great memories and that FA Cup game away at Portsmouth last season is one of my best footballing memories ever. I leave the club on good terms and I’m leaving the club for personal reasons and moving to a club in a league that works better for me location wise. Sometimes you leave a club for reasons beyond football and this is definitely one of those situations, but I wish the boys nothing but success for the rest of the season and I’ll be keeping an eye out for results each week'.
Everyone at Boro wishes James all the best for the future and Kings Langley don't need us to tell them that they've signed a proven goal scorer.
