The Middlesex F.A. have today postponed the Middlesex Senior Charity Cup Final, for details as supplied by the M.F.A.

Please be advised that the Association has taken the difficult decision to postpone the Senior Charity Cup Final between Enfield Town and Harrow Borough, which was scheduled for Monday 4th May at Enfield Town FC. The reason for taking this decision is that there are ongoing issues concerning the eligibility (or otherwise) of Aryan Tajbakhsh, who accrued ten cautions prior to joining Enfield Town and who played for Enfield in their quarter-final at Ashford Town (Middlesex) when he should have been serving a suspension.

At present, the Middlesex FA is not party to the full facts of the case, which is being dealt with by The Football Association. It is therefore not appropriate to make any decisions as to whether or not the Adult Cups Sub Committee can or should take any action in respect of Mr Tajbakhsh’s participation in the quarter-final until such time as the processes already started by The Football Association have been completed. The Adult Cups Sub Committee will review the findings of The Football Association and Isthmian League before making any further decisions in respect of this season’s Charity Cup. We will then work with participant clubs to agree the playing of the Final at the beginning of the 2015-16 season.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused
