Last season:
Merthyr took the points back down the M4 on their last visit in March, with Ricardo Rees and Thomas Handley on the scoresheet in a 2-1 win. Jaden Sharman scored an added time consolation for Boro.

Season so far:
The Martyrs started this season strongly with six consecutive wins, but have struggled over the last month or so, with their last win coming away to Basingstoke at the start of October. As a result, they have slipped outside of the playoff places, but are still only three points off third.

One to watch:
Rees is still Merthyr's main man with eleven league goals, with defender Liam Angel, signed from Yate Town in the summer, also one to keep an eye on at both ends of the pitch having scored a couple of goals in recent weeks.
