Les made his Harrow Borough debut in 1971, starting a 15 year playing association with the club. He is one one the few players to have played over 400 first team appearances (at least 423), whilst adding his reserve appearances makes him one of only two players to have played 600 times for the club.
He played in the 1978/79 Isthmian Division One promotion side
and the 1983/84 Isthmian Premier Division promotion side.
He starred in the 1982/83 run to the F.A.Trophy semi final.
He was also in the 1983 Middlesex Senior Cup winning side and the 1980 Middlesex Charity Cup winning team.
In season 1980/81 was voted both the Supporters and Vice Presidents player of the season.
