Hartlepool BBOB v Seaton Carew Saturday 27th April 3pm at The Old Friarage

The final will be contested between ourselves and Seaton Carew RUFC after their nail biting win midweek, with the tie to be played at home
on the Old Friarage.
This is the first time the two clubs will have ever competed against each other in the prestigious cup final and will be the first Pyman Cup final played on the pitch since 1939.
It is also worth noting that it is 50 years this year since BBOB last won the cup. Coach Clayton said “We are delighted to reach the final and over the moon for it to be at home, hopefully with a bumper crowd cheering us on. Ourselves and Seaton really are at the social end of club rugby so to knock out some quality teams between us to reach the final is quite special. To put our names on the trophy for the first time in half a century really would be the icing on the cake, however we won’t take Seaton lightly. They had a cracking win midweek and we know a tough game awaits us.”
Get along to support the lads next Saturday, April 27th, kick off 3pm.
