Your round up of all the stories following the weekend's action.

- 1st XV suffered a 8-64 defeat at the hands of league leaders Guisborough. As the injury list continues to grow big credit must go to those lads who were asked to step up on Saturday. We were forced into three changes before kick off owing to illness and an injury in the warm up which added to the disruption. But the players battled hard throughout and it wasn't for a lack of effort.

- The Minis were back in action on Sunday morning following last week's postponement when they played host to Darlington Mowden Park, Houghton, Seaton Carew & Westoe.

- U11 enjoyed a great morning of rugby at Novocastrians where they played four games across two pitches, winning all four.

- U12 Girls made the trip to Ashington for a festival that saw them play five fixtures and opposition coaches comment on the progress of the team.

- U13 beat Peterlee & Horden away in a tight contest that was settled by one try.

- U14 Boys pushed Stockton close at Mayfield Park with the visitors scoring late on to win 22-31.

- There was no U16 Girls game this week but two players, Fiona Carson-White and Fern Murray, represented Durham County in an internal fixture at Blaydon. Hannah Mclurg also attended as she continues her recovery from injury.

- U18 Academy Boys lost out 7-22 in a local derby with West Hartlepool.
