Michael Smalley named Portals Place 1st XV Player of the Month
Michael Smalley has been named as Hartlepool's Portals Place 1st XV Player of the Month for February.
Smalley has enjoyed another fine month in the second row but his performances often go unheralded as he quietly goes about his business on the field.
His work rate around the park and the key role he plays in the set piece however are crucial to the team and he is in the midst of one of his best seasons in a Hartlepool shirt.
He will receive a £20 voucher for local restaurant Portals Place. This is a fantastic gesture from Tony and the staff there, and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
