Hartlepool entertain Winlaton while Hartlepool A travel to Bishop Auckland in the CANDY Cup (2.15pm KO).

Hartlepool welcome Winlaton Vulcans to Mayfield Park in the latest round of Durham Northumberland 2 fixtures.

The hosts are in good form having won 6 of their last 7 games including last weeks 38-12 defeat of Seaham.

That result saw them return to winning ways and bounce back at the first attempt following the narrow defeat to Guisborough before the break.

The visitors currently lie 11th in the table and will be hoping the shake off the hangover from last weeks 7-111 defeat at the hands of unbeaten league leaders Guisborough.

But they have enjoyed good wins against North Shields, Redcar and Whitby this term so they will not be taken lightly.

Hartlepool name a strong squad with several returnees including Ryan Wilson, Callum Whitehead and Tazz Pelser.

Graham Wilson, Lewis Dawson-Weatherill and captain Adam Williamson pack down again in the front row, while Ryan Wilson partners Shane Ivey in the engine room.

Ivey enjoyed a fine outing at number 8 against Seaham that saw him score a brace of tries.

Aaron Jeffery returns to the back row with Dean Dickson moving across to number 8 and Jon Carney continuing at open side.

Pelser and Keagen Thomas both return to the back line with the latter partnering Harry Mayes in the centre.

1. G Wilson, 2. Dawson-Weatherill, 3. Williamson (c), 4. S Ivey, 5. R Wilson, 6. Jeffery, 7. Carney, 8. Dickson, 9. Pelser, 10. Ainley, 11. Hall, 12. K Thomas, 13. Mayes, 14. Winter, 15. L Wilson

Reps: 16. Watson, 17. Whitehead, 18. Taylor

Hartlepool A travel to Bishop Auckland for a CANDY Cup Quarter Final tie and are also boosted by the return of several players.

The Maroons are in good form and head into this game on the back of four consecutive wins.

They won 12-34 at West Mills on the opening day of the season but are under no illusion of how difficult a place Bishop is to go and they will have to be at their best to come away with a victory.

Pool have the luxury of calling upon four props for probably the first time this season including October's Player of the Month Kris Dawson and Martyn Howard, who has impressed in his appearances to date since signing from WHTDSOB.

Michael Smalley and Jack Riley are also set to feature following recent outings for the first team.

The half back pairing of Brandon Venter and top points scorer Antony Lawrence return having both missed the win over Seaham last time out.

Stephen Cole will be looking to carry on the rich vein of try scoring form that has seen him score 7 this term and Craig Woodward is set to make his first appearance of the season.

Team from:

Dawson, Bird, Ward, Howard, Smailes, Swift, Riley, Smalley, Simpson, Harper, Sharp, Venter, Lawrence, Lester, Cole, Osland, Jukes, Din, T Wilson, Connor, Emmanuel, Woodward
