Under 16 Stars Selected for Newcastle Red Bulls Academy

Official HRFC6 Mar - 14:27

Congratulations to Isaac Taylor and Kymani Constable from our Under 16 Boys, who have been selected for the Newcastle Red Bulls Academy squad.

Chosen from around 90 players across the three Red Bull Foundation Centres in the region, Isaac and Kymani have earned their place in a final squad of just 30 players. The squad will continue to train together and will also have the opportunity to face other Premiership Rugby academies in fixtures this Spring.

Isaac joined the club at U7s, captaining his side for nearly a decade and earning respect across the county for his powerful and uncompromising style of play.

Kymani joined the club just 20 months ago with limited rugby experience but has developed rapidly through his athleticism, speed and determination to improve week after week.

Jamie Meeson, Under 16 Boys Head coach, said:

“Isaac has been a cornerstone of this group for many years. From the moment he joined the club as a young player he has shown a level of commitment, competitiveness and maturity beyond his age. He leads through his actions on the field, setting standards in training and in matches. His selection for the Red Bulls Academy is thoroughly deserved and reflects the hard work he has put in over a long period of time."

“Kymani’s progress since joining the club has been outstanding. He arrived with little experience but immediately showed natural athletic ability and a real willingness to learn. Week by week he has developed his understanding of the game and applied himself brilliantly in training. His pace, agility and work ethic give him a huge ceiling for growth, and this opportunity with the Red Bulls Academy is a great reward for the effort he’s put in. We’re incredibly proud of both players.”

A fantastic achievement for both lads and a proud moment for everyone at Hartlepool Rugby Club.

We wish them the very best of luck with their upcoming fixtures.
