ROLE: Groundsperson

This is a voluntary position and can be shared.

OVERVIEW:

To be proactive in ensuring that the outdoor spaces at Mayfield Park are well maintained, safe and tidy.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, and possesses versatile skills.

TASKS:

- General maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, strimming, weeding, planting, surface cleaning, litter picking and minor repairs.

- Pitch maintenance tasks such as topdressing, aeration, seeding and debris removal.

- Liaise with pitch maintenance services and other on site contractors, as required.

- Take necessary action where inclement weather or other factors are predicted to ensure the grounds are safe and that all games/training are given the very best chance of going ahead.
