Here are a few of the rugby headlines from around the club this weekend.
2nd XV were set to travel to Guisborough in CANDY League 2 South on Saturday but unfortunately the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch. It has been rearranged for this coming Friday night.
On Sunday our Ladies made it back to back wins for the first time following a memorable 29-17 victory against unbeaten league leaders Yarm at Mayfield Park.
Bella Armitage became the first player to make 25 appearances for the team since we rejoined the league in 2022/23.
Under 12 Boys were all set for a road trip to West Leeds as they continue to challenge themselves against teams from Yorkshire. But that fixture also fell foul to the weather.
Under 12 Girls enjoyed a clean sweep at the Ashington Festival winning all four of their games.
It was a tight one on the bottom pitch with the Under 14 Boys losing out 20-24 to a strong Tynedale side in a close fought and exciting contest.
Under 15 Boys extended their unbeaten run to 9 games with a 0-53 win at Peterlee & Horden in the County Cup first round.
Under 16 Girls also played at Peterlee & Horden narrowly losing out 33-27 to a try with the final play.
