As part of our 140th anniversary season celebrations, Hartlepool Rovers have managed to secure an evening with Lewis Moody on Friday 4th of October 2019.

Not only will the eveing celebrate the 140 year history of Hartlepool Rovers it will also raise money for the clubs ever growing Minis and Junior section.

Event organiser, John Bickerstaff, said "We are really pleased to bring someone of Lewis' calliber to the club. Lewis is a world cup winner, former England captian, and a Lion. They don't come much bigger than that."

"It's our 140th anniversary and we have a number of events planned over the course of the season and this is just the first to be announced. We have a strong history of bringing some big names to the club for such events with some recent names including Simon Shaw and maybe the most famous of all Martin Johnson."

"Money raised from the event will go to our Minis and Juniors to help grow and support the next generation of Rovers players."

Tickets are likely to sell fast with tickets priced at £35pp or a table of 10 can be purchased. There is also the option of premium tables if companies would like to support the event with sponsorship. The price includes a three course meal and of course the chance to listen to and speak with Lewis.
