There were a few special awards with George Allen being awarded for his outstanding performances this season and Libby being rewarded for her commitment, effort, and most improvement. Harry Ainslie, of the under 9s, received an award for showing great character and effort over the season. The under 11s player of the year was Harry Calvert who has had a fabulous season.

A big thank you to all of our players and parents. Also our team of dedicated volunteers who give up their free time to coach, feed, and organise our youngsters. The Youth Section has grown again this year with more players picking a ball up and more rugby played with our players enjoying their experience. Clubs like Hartlepool Rovers rely heavily on their junior sections to produce senior players of the future. If you look at the current men's teams the majority of players are graduates of our youth section. We are now seeing our junior girls move into our ladies teams.

This season Bailey and Riley have both transitioned from juniors to senior rugby with both of them representing the Heughers. We have also seen Sophie D, Sophie H, Kristen, Olivia, and Taylor make the jump from junior girls to ladies. We will see even more transition next season and the seasons after but none of this would be possible without the support everyone. Thank you all for another successful season and we look forward to season 2019/20
