Hartlepool Rovers recently celebrated our 140th birthday and to mark the occasion our minis and juniors are planning to run 140 miles around the perimeter of the pitch.

All of our teams, from Little Monkeys to under 18 girls, are taking part in the event. The money raised will all go back to the kids. We have plans to kit all of the players out with a training top and if enough money is raised more kit will be added. We will also be using the money to buy new equipment for our players to use. It is all for our minis and juniors.

Some of our younger teams have already started knocking a few laps off the total but the big event will take place on Sunday 1st of November. Players will be running laps of the pitch to try and reach our target. Parents are encouraged to take part too. And Halloween fancy dress is encouraged to be worn.

Everyone that takes part will also be entered into a free draw for Nando's vouchers and some other prizes.

Your team coach has sponsor forms if you don't already have one.

If anyone would like to sponsor one of our players just ask any of the junior coaches and they will make sure the sponsor money gets added to the pot. Sponsor money needs to be handed into your team coach no later than the 8th of November so new training kits can be ordered.
