On Saturday we travel to Blidworth Miners Welfare Social Centre to take on Blidworth Welfare in Central Midlands Alliance action. As always, your support is greatly appreciated by everybody at the club. The address for the ground is Mansfield Road, Blidworth, NG21 0LR.
We currently sit in 10th position in the league table, with 39 points after 28 fixtures. Last Saturday we lost 3-1 at home to Kiveton Miners Welfare, with Mason Laws scoring. On Tuesday 15th April we lost 2-0 at home to Hatfield Town. On Saturday 12th April we won 2-1 away at Elite, with Callum Edwards and Rob Singer scoring. On Tuesday 8th April we won 4-2 at home to Yorkshire Main, with Callum Edwards scoring twice, and the other Colliery goals coming from Joe Green and Harvey Walker. On Friday 4th April we drew 2-2 away at Doncaster City, with Mason Laws and Adam Morrison scoring.
Our hosts currently sit in sixth position in the table, with 47 points from 29 fixtures. On Wednesday they lost 2-1 away at Staveley Miners Welfare Reserves, with James Vickers scoring. On Saturday 19th April they won 4-1 away at Glapwell, with Ben Copestake and Archie Ward both scoring twice. On Tuesday 15th April they lost 3-0 away at Linby Colliery Welfare.
The two sides have previously met 19 times, with Colliery winning three, drawing six and losing 10 of those meetings. The last time that the sides met was earlier in the season at the Jones & Co Recreational Ground, with the fixture on Saturday 3rd August ending as a 0-0 draw.
