On Tuesday evening we welcome Hatfield Town to the Jones & Co Recreational Ground in Central Midlands Alliance action. We wish a warm welcome to all the players, officials, and supporters of Hatfield Town.
As always entry for the game is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for members. Toms Tea Room will be open for refreshments and the Pavilion will be open for pre and post-match drinks. Also, the Shaft Side Bar will be open throughout the game for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. The club’s raffle will also be up for grabs so please remember to purchase your tickets. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.
We currently sit in ninth position in the league table, with 39 points after 26 fixtures. On Saturday we won 2-1 away at Elite, with Callum Edwards and Rob Singer scoring. On Tuesday 8th April we won 4-2 at home to Yorkshire Main, with Callum Edwards scoring twice, and the other Colliery goals coming from Joe Green and Harvey Walker. On Friday 4th April we drew 2-2 away at Doncaster City, with Mason Laws and Adam Morrison scoring. On Saturday 29th March we lost 1-0 away at Rossington Main Reserves. On Saturday 22nd March we away won 3-1 away at AFC Phoenix, with Adam Morrison scoring twice, and Callum Edwards getting the other Colliery goal.
Our visitors currently sit in third position in the table, with 50 points from 28 matches. On Saturday 5th April they lost 3-1 at home to AFC Bentley, with Joseph Smith scoring. On Saturday 29th March they lost 4-0 away at Glapwell. On Saturday 22nd March they won 6-1 away at Yorkshire Main, with Joseph Smith and Callum Stockton both scoring twice, and their other goals coming from Fraser Hurst and Finlay Watt.
The two sides have previously met on nine occasions, with Colliery winning four, drawing two and losing three of those fixtures. The sides met earlier this season at Dunscroft Welfare, with the game ending 2-0 to Hatfield Town, with Clayton Cherowbrier scoring twice.
