On Saturday we welcome Kiveton Miners Welfare to the Jones & Co Recreational Ground in Central Midlands Alliance action. We wish a warm welcome to all the players, officials, and supporters of Kiveton Miners Welfare.

As always entry for the game is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for members. Toms Tea Room will be open for refreshments and the Pavilion will be open for pre and post-match drinks. Also, the Shaft Side Bar will be open throughout the game for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. The club’s raffle will also be up for grabs so please remember to purchase your tickets. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

We currently sit in ninth position in the league table, with 39 points after 27 fixtures. On Tuesday we lost 2-0 at home to Hatfield Town. On Saturday 12th April we won 2-1 away at Elite, with Callum Edwards and Rob Singer scoring. On Tuesday 8th April we won 4-2 at home to Yorkshire Main, with Callum Edwards scoring twice, and the other Colliery goals coming from Joe Green and Harvey Walker. On Friday 4th April we drew 2-2 away at Doncaster City, with Mason Laws and Adam Morrison scoring. On Saturday 29th March we lost 1-0 away at Rossington Main Reserves

Our visitors currently sit in 12th place in the table, with 33 points from 27 fixtures. On Tuesday they lost 3-1 away at Worksop Town Reserves, with Amir Mohammed scoring. On Saturday 5th April they won 4-3 at home to Dinnington Town, with Abdulrahman Asad scoring twice, and Amir Mohammed and Jamal Yussuf scoring their other goals. On Saturday 22nd March they won 2-1 away at AFC Bentley, with Abdulrahman Asad and William Palmer scoring.

The two sides have previously met on 11 occasions, with Colliery winning nine, drawing one and losing one of those meetings. The last time the sides met was at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park on Saturday 8th March. The fixture ended in a 3-2 victory for Colliery, with Jason Kearsley scoring twice, and the other Colliery goal coming from Rob Singer. Abdulrahman Asad scored twice for Kiveton Miners Welfare.

One to watch for our visitors will be Abdulrahman Asad. So far this season he has scored 20 times in 20 appearances.
