
On Saturday we travel to Tomlin Personnel Park to take on Teversal in Central Midlands Alliance action. As always, your support is greatly appreciated by everybody at the club. The address for the ground is Carnarvon Street, Teversal, NG17 3HJ. Kick-off is at 2PM.
We currently sit in third position in the league table, with 27 points after 11 matches. Last Saturday we won 5-0 at home to Rossington Main Reserves, with Dec Heath scoring twice, and the other Colliery goals coming from Callum Edwards, Billy Stafford and Jordan Timmons.
On Tuesday 9th December we won 3-2 at home to Teversal in the second round of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup, with Billy Stafford scoring twice, and the other Colliery goal coming from Rob Singer. On Saturday 29th November we lost 3-2 away at Brodsworth Main, with Cory Goodwin and Billy Stafford scoring.
On Saturday 22nd November we lost 6-5 on penalties away at Elite in the Second Round of the Buckingham Insurance League Cup, with the tie finishing 3-3 in normal time. Cory Goodwin, Rob Singer and Billy Stafford scored for Colliery. On Saturday 8th November we won 2-0 at home to SJR Worksop, with Callum Edwards and Billy Stafford scoring.
Our hosts currently sit in fifth place in the table, with 24 points from 12 fixtures. On Tuesday 9th December they lost 3-2 away at Colliery in the Second Round of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup, with Tyron Macaskill scoring twice.
On Saturday 6th December they won 5-1 at home to Notts City Rangers, with Josh Parfitt scoring twice, and their other goals coming from Kurtis Bamford, Nathan Hadley and Rocco Hardy. On Saturday 22nd November they won 4-2 at home to RHP Sports & Social, with Tyron Macaskill getting a hat-trick, and Josh Parfitt getting their other goal.
The two sides previously met earlier in the season, with the fixture on Saturday 11th October at the Jones & Co Recreational Ground ending 6-0 to Colliery. Daniel Boulton, Callum Edwards, Joe Green, Declan Heath, Rob Singer and Billy Stafford all scored.
One to watch for Teversal will be Josh Parfitt. So far this season he has scored 11 times in 11
appearances.
