Chris Clifford will take over the reigns from Glenn, he will be assisted by first team players Josh Bowkett and Cory Goodwin & joining them will be Craig (Billy) Anderson.

Here is what Chris has to say:

I an delighted to have been given the opportunity to take my first role as manager. Hopefully we can re-align the club and reform the pathway for youngsters breaking into the first team.

As is the aim of any club or group, we want to win as many games as possible and see where that takes us. It’s going to be a very young, inexperienced group, but that youthful naivety could help us attempt to form the backbone of the club for the future.

The biggest achievement in this role may not be on the pitch, it will be progressing the group and readying them for senior football, but if we can pick up a trophy or two along the way, as has been the case in previous seasons with Harworth, then that’d be a bonus.

Finally, to step out on my own after years of guidance from Bren, whom I owe so much to for giving me my first opportunity in coaching, and attempt to bring the same level of leadership as he did, and we continue to do together at senior level, will be a huge challenge, but with the assistance of Cory, Bowks and Billy I’m extremely confident of a successful season.

The club would like to thank Glenn and Hass for the hardwork and commitment last season, both came into the club at a very transitional time and did a great job in getting players into the club and progressing with both senior sides, we wish them both well for the future
