Dylan Joseph scored on his debut as Haslemere beat Cove 5 - 3 in a hard fought physical game.
The win takes leaves Haslemere in second place in the table after just three games.
After a break for half term the Under 14s resume their fixtures with a home game against Hook on Sunday 3rd November. Haslemere have already beaten Hook 3 - 1 in an earlier league game.
