Town are delighted to announce former player Jason Beck as First team manager

The club is pleased to announce that Jason Beck steps in as first team manager with immediate effect.

Becky comes to us after a long spell with Hertford Town FC. Becky has won the Spartan Premier with 2 teams, being apart of the equally famous Royston Town FC and AFC Dunstable sides that smashed the division respectively.
A Hatfield man through and through, he played for Town in the Herts Senior, winning the HSCL Premier, and then getting promoted into the Spartan Premier the following season.

A local man, with the calibre of player to really take this club up the football pyramid, it is not hard to understand the buzz around the town right now.

Chairman Chris Maloney believes this is a great move for both the club, and the town: "We wanted to get the decision right, the club is going through an important period right now, and it was right to bring in a man with the desire and ambition of Jason Beck, but also a connection with the club, the town, and the community".

Becks first game in charge is at Home against Ampthill Town, who beat 3rd place Hillingdon Borough 3-2 last Saturday.
