Havant Dolphins aim to bounce straight back after suffering a disappointing setback away at Alresford next last week. The Dolphins will surely show that it was a blip, and show on Saturday what they are really about.
Farnborough have had a tough start to life in Hampshire premier but have already faced 3 of the top 4 sides in the league. They will see this as an opportunity to get their season going.
The south coast side sees a number of changes through injury and unavailability, in both the 1st and 2nd team squads, but with players returning from injury, this is arguably a stronger side than last week.
In the front row, youngster Lewis Woolcombe makes his first start of the season alongside veteran hooker Justin Powell with Sam Cutting as the other prop.
The 2nd row continues with the youthful look with Alex Sowerby and Joe Nolan. At 6 is player coach Graham Butterworth who is in the side to guide the young guns whilst imposing his stamp on the game. The abrasive Harrison Chalk is a welcome return at 7 as is the powerful Tim Miller at 8.
In the backs, another player back from injury is the speedy Alex Bishop at scrum half, and he is joined by Dave Sweeney at 10. In the centres Simon Morgan returns at 12 with royal marine Loz Blackburn outside him. The wings have real excitement of pace and power with Sam Walker and Jay Wilkes, whilst skipper Pete Living marshals the troops from Full Back.
The finishers of Tom Sutton, academy graduate Ben Powell and fly half Gareth Davies will also be itching to get on and make their mark on the game.
Kick off is at 3pm at hooks lane and all support will be welcome
