HAVERFORDWEST RFC - MAKE A DIFFERNCE DAY - ANNUAL VOLUNTEERING EVENT. See below for full details.....................................................

Make a date to make a difference at Haverfordwest RFC.
“Make a Difference Day” the Club’s Biggest Annual Volunteering Event!

Paint, clean, repair, tidy. All players, coaches, members and their families are invited to participate in a “Make a Difference Day” event on Sunday 10th August 2014 to prepare the clubhouse and grounds for the new season.

We need 50 or as many volunteers as we can muster to paint, varnish, clean, sweep, polish, de-clutter, repair, tidy, weed and cut grass.

Support is being given by the Nat West Bank via the WRU. Claire Thomas (Club Support Advisor) of the WRU said, “Nat West know how important rugby clubs are, they form the heart and soul of community life and they want to support what is important”

This year’s “Make a Difference Day” is taking place on Sunday 10th August, joining the fund raising efforts for the family of Shannon Folena who many will know was hit by a car on the Haverfordwest bypass back in March and remains in a Cardiff hospital. There will be bouncy castles, face painting, music and a raffle with a big variety of prizes to be won.

Players, past and present, at Haverfordwest RFC are very privileged. From the training facilities, pitches, food, our excellent clubhouse. We like to think we all have a responsibility to give as much back to the club and our great game as we get out.

For more information on getting involved in “Make a Difference Day”, call Graham Dalton (Hon. Secretary) 07800 555 662 or e-mail dalton_graham@hotmail.com
