With big media build up to this exciting local derby fixture the lads from both teams did not disappoint to provide supporters a great game to watch whether on site or via BBC Sport coverage which were live streaming from start to finish.

The sun shone, the pitch looked magnificent (thanks to Parker’s Pitches) the atmosphere was electric and the result was just what the loyal Rovers supporters would have wanted - a 2-0 victory.

Both teams worked hard and gave it their all to not disappoint the large crowd of spectators that came to The New Croft facility to watch and support their respective sides.

The day was enjoyed by all with the Emirates FA Cup on site with photo opportunities and 33 lucky mascots had a match day experience to remember.

Rovers bagged the win but credit to Haverhill Borough for their good sportsmanship and we wish them well for the season ahead.
