HAYLE BEGIN NEW SEASON WITH DEFEAT

Hayle 1sts began the new campaign with a 5-0 defeat to Caharrack who were runners-up in the previous season.

Carharrack were deserved winners that evening with goals coming from Ed Wilton, Adam Stephens, Jake Shaw and Connor Powell respectively.

Stand-in keeper Danny Ford made some excellent saves in the first half before the home sides first goal of the game.

After a strong pre-season from the Green Army, there were many disappointed faces after the game. However, they are now looking forward to their first home game of the season on Tuesday 16th as they welcome St Just to Trevassack Park, 6.30 kick-off.
