Heanor Town Development Squad would like to welcome ex Mansfield Town Scholar Matty Jones to the Club. Jones spent 2 years with the stags from the age of 16, following his release he moved to Rainworth in the Evo Stick.

Jones made his debut in last nights Under 21 defeat against Mickleover Sports.

" Matty hasn't played for a number of weeks, however you can see he has quality on the ball and likes too beat a man. He offers us something different and has bags of pace, We think after a few games under his belt, you will start to see a real talent emerge. We have signed a number of good young players over the past 3 weeks and unless players leave this will be our last for a while. It's about getting them all embeded and playing as a team from now on "
