It is with sadness that we have to report the death of Tim Ensor, who passed away on Saturday night, following a protracted illness.

Tim joined Moor in season 1994/95 when he moved into the area to work in the field of education. He played on the Vets. XV and even when he changed jobs and moved to Bradford, he still used to travel back to play for the side at the weekend, eventually retiring from rugby in 2003, Ours was the last of a number of clubs that he had played for over the years, with Oldham, Barton-upon-Humber and Oundle being some of the previous ones.

Tim was well-known for his musical talents, his speciality being folk music, and he helped to organise a number of folk nights at the club and always kept everyone entertained on many a rugby tour.

Our thoughts are with his wife Fiona and family at this time.
