This season (2017-18) was a mixed bag really. The management of Helpringham we're disillusioned with how the fixtures were being administered and frequently chopped and changed. While the weather was bad, Rovers went many weeks without fixtures when the weather was fine and in reality our season couldn't get flowing. However, Rovers eventually played 12 league games finishing equal third on 19 points. Our cup runs meant we played a few more fixtures and went on to Win the Benny O’Meara Sunday Knockout Cup 1-0 versus Rippingale and Folkingham which in essence was a good way to end the season.
