Helsby U7's vs Ellesmere Port and West Park

Helsby played 2 close games to lose to West Park (3-4) and Ellesmere Port (2-3). In the West Park game a try by Harrison was only disallowed because a Helsby player had been in touch a moment earlier, other scorers were Edmund, Joseph and Cameron. The line up coach Kris has been experimenting with seems to be taking effect; Owain was named Man of the Match for knowing what to do with the ball when he had it and team work. Still a abit of off side infringements to work on, but overall the U7 squad is making solid progress.

In the 2nd match Edmund and Owain claimed the tries and the team defended very well dispite some opposition players being of intimidating generous carriage! Edmund was named Man of the Match for coming through with a graze injury and getting straight back on his feet with minimum fuss to support his team. Well done.
