Students will have access to experienced and UEFA qualified coaching, a competitive games programme with home matches played at the Vauxhall Road stadium. The scholarship squad also take part in the FA Youth Cup, the worlds most prestigious youth club competition.

We have enjoyed seeing 15 scholarship students make their full debuts in the 1st team for HHTFC in the National League South during the last 4 seasons. Four of those students have earned 1st team contracts.

The scholarship has many links to professional clubs and football organisations including Premier League clubs and scholarship abroad opportunities, such as Watford F.C USA.

The entry criteria to join this scholarship is as follows:

Level 2 BTEC - Aged 16 or 17 by September 1st, alongside a solid secondary school education history

Level 3 BTEC extended diploma - Aged 16 or 17 by September 1st, alongside 4 x GCSE's including a minimum of Grade 4 Exam passes in Maths AND English.

Upon successful completion of the 2 Year level 3 BTEC diploma, this course carries the equivalent UCAS points of 3 x A Levels, which can provide a student with a realistic and potential University placement pathway.
