On Saturday 5th June 2010 Charlie Fidler passed away suddenly at the tender age of 8. Charlie joined Hemel Town Youth under 7’s team in 2008. His infectious enthusiam and love of football was evident to all who met him. He was an integral part of the Red Team and his natural ability marked him out as an outstanding future prospect. Charlie’s ever present smile, his determination to tackle boys much bigger than him and his willingness to learn identified him as a special boy. Charlie attended the club on June 5th and deservedly collected the Most Improved Player Award at the Hemel Town Youth Awards ceremony.
