The new U12 County League team had a really positive start to the season, playing a friendly against Eversholt.
Last year, they played in the Development League, so it was a big step up to perform well in the competitive County League.

Eversholt batted first and totalled 112. Ethan took 2 wickets, with Guy, George and Jamie taking a wicket each.

So with Henlow chasing 112, they made steady progress, eventually needing 10 runs from the last over for the win. Unfortunately, we lost a couple of wickets and ended up only 4 runs short of victory.
Good batting from Ethan, Guy and Ben helped keep the score as close as it was.

A fantastic effort by all the players and they will go into the first League match next Sunday, at home to Dunstable, full of confidence.
