Lads Club made one change to their starting line up that was up against Newport Town in their 3-0 home win with Burke coming in for his first start of the season for the injured Drezewski.
Lads Club had to make a change to their subs bench in the warm when the returning Corbett broke down and had to be replaced by Andrews who himself not 100% fit.
Bromyard had a lot of youthful players who worked very hard but were not good enough on the day and never really tested Bell in the Lads Club goal.
Lads Club got off to a good start with Worthing picking the ball up on the corner of the box and hitting his shot into the far corner of the goal.
Bromyard had set up in a 5-4-1 formation and were determined not to concede many if any goals but with the form of Lads Club of late I don't think it mattered how they were set up.
A second goal was imminent when Herbert rose above everybody and headed in at the front post from a quality cross.
Lads Club went in 2-0 up at half time but it was not one of their best performances and were getting frustrated with Bromyards negativity.
HT 0-2
After a good half time team talk Lads Club came out for the second half and straight away they did what was asked of them and got a quick 3rd goal when Maturi broke down the left and his exquisite cross was met at the far post by the opposite fullback Dixon who finished from 5 yards.
Lads Club had 4 or 5 more opportunities to score but their finishing was wayward until Herbert picked up his second when Dixon attacked down the right and fed the ball into the 6 yard box and with everybody questioning who got the last touch whether it was Burke an O.G or Herbert it didn't matter as the ball crossed the line.
The 5th goal came when a slide rule pass by Worthing found the inform Harding and with the keeper out of position fired his shot early at the front post from about 2 yards.
Bromyard had the last say in the game but Bell brought off two good saves.
