As you can see there are a few changes from the team that played against Beds Athletic.

The front row remains the same as Chris Joyce is away for the next two weeks, so Christy Basra who acquitted himself well on his debut keeps his spot. There is a change in 2nd row as James Kinsley failed a fitness test and is replaced by Jack Elston. The back row sees one change with Josh Corcoran returning to the starting line-up after recovering from injury. Moss Goodwin returns to the 2nd XV where he has come on leaps and bounds this season. Moss is very coachable and I am sure will play more 1st xv rugby this season. Dave Archer and Torran MacDougal keep their spots with Dave Archer in particular in very good form

James Keens comes on to the bench after being injured for two weeks, Josh Hewitt takes up the other forwards bench spot after also being out injured.

The back line sees four changes from the one that started last time out. Michael Sargent remains at scrum half and playing very well at the moment. He will be partnered by Rory Seymour at fly half. Rory Seymour was man of the match against London Irish two weeks ago in the 2nd xv and we feel he deserves a run out. Ben Lloyd drops in to the 2nd xv this week. In the center Richard Streets has a broken nose, which requires surgery so is out for this week. The experienced Stuart Smart comes in at 12 with Kyle Lemon at 13, who is also in good form at the moment. On the wings we again see changes with Michael Allan returning from injury, but we feel we need his finishing power on the wing. Vince Young drops down to the 2nd xv this week, but I am sure he will feature again in the 1st xv this season as he has a great attitude and wants to learn. On the other wing will be Archie Wilkins who comes in for his debut. Archie has been putting his hand up in the 2nd xv week in week out and has been training regularly and deserves a shot in the 1st XV. Harry Barker, who was my man of the match last time out is at 15.
Michael Rugeley drops down to the 2nd XV this week as we feel he needs some more game time, with Jack Mitchell taking the last bench spot this week.

Training has been pretty tough this week, but we need to be better in our execution as we are creating plenty of chances, but seem to make similar mistakes each week. Whether that is because as Coaches our messages are not clear enough or whether players are not responding is not really the issue. The issue is that the last time we played was not good enough from a playing or a coaching perspective. As I have said before, I take full responsibility for our performances, but I am looking for a "Hoe lane" reaction from the players on Saturday and that is why we have picked this team.

We hope to see as many of you’re a possible on Saturday and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support.
