Hertford's ambitions for promotion next season have been strengthened by some key signings.

Hertford's ambitions for promotion next season have been strengthened by some key signings, they will add strength, depth and fierce competition our existing playing squad. We are pleased to announce the following new signings:

Lloyd Davies - We are delighted to have signed 27 year old Lloyd to the squad, the fly half is a product of the Wharfedale youth system, Lloyd has made over 100 National One appearances with spells at Preston Grasshoppers and Esher.

Kieran Forbes - Another RAF serviceman joining Hertford Rugby Club for this season's campaign. Kieran is a powerful athletic number 8 who will be a great asset to the squad. Has represented the combined services and the RAF.

Brad Baker - We welcome second row Brad Baker from Shelford Rugby Club, who is looking to develop his career and drive Hertfords promotion ambitions for this season. Brad will be a great addition to the squad and look forward to watching his developments.

Euan Tremlett - Hertford are pleased to announce another second row signing from Bishops Stortford rugby club. Euan brings plenty of height to the squad and is focused on the new challenge ahead and looks forward to being part of the clubs success.

James Tan - James is an exciting Hooker with a great skill set and is looking to progress his career and challenge himself. Has been playing his rugby at Welwyn for the last few seasons and has consistently been one of their top performers. We are very pleased to add James to the squad and see how he progresses in a more challenging environment.

Mike Allan - We welcome back Mike 'monkey' Allan, who returns from a season away from rugby to focus on his business. Not much is needed to say about Mike who is a prolific try scorer and will be a dangerous threat on the wing. Mike's wealth of experience will truly strengthen the group.

Josh Rudling - Also delighted to have signed Josh Rudling since graduating from Northumbria University. Josh is a young versatile back who has been playing very good standard rugby at University and will only get better. Josh is a Hertford boy so delighted to have signed him.

We say goodbye and thank you for all your efforts over the past few seasons to Tim Mathews who has returned to his home club Epping, and Red Newberry who has taken a player coaching role at Rochford Hundred rugby club.

Hertford are still actively recruiting new senior members players of all ability, please contact our Senior Coach Co-ordinator Dave Hynard either by email davidhynard@gmail.com or 07412355108.
