"It is with sadness and disappointment that unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I am stepping down as Chairman of Hertford Town FC with immediate effect. I will remain involved with the club in the background as I am keen to see thorough the projects that we have been working hard on over the past year such as upgrading the car park, installing new floodlights and adding a new stand to the ground.

I have very much enjoyed my time as Chairman and by stepping back from this role it will allow me to focus more on the infrastructure of the club rather than the day to day affairs.

I would like to thank the staff, players, fans, volunteers and the committee for their support during my tenure and wish the team the best of luck for the rest of the season."
