The league’s new vehicle leasing partner inspect what’s coming our way this weekend

The BetVictor Isthmian League’s new vehicle leasing partner Vanarama are keeping a very close eye on things with the Vanarama Non-League Watch!

Just as we’re getting a head of steam in the BetVictor Isthmian South Central division, the cup competitions come along and take centre stage again!

With the FA Cup still bubbling away for some and the Velocity Trophy matches already in full swing, this weekend the FA Trophy arrives back on the scene.

So we’re putting the league to on side again, but how have we left things?

Westfield would probably prefer to be playing for three points on Saturday, and who could blame them? The Surrey side have won their last three and scored 14 goals in those matches.

They must wait until October when they next travel to [b]Barking, who at last have their second home game of the season.

There is one league match on Saturday - and while the cats are away, Tooting & Mitcham hope to play!

It will take more than a ten-goal win for them to go top, but they can join leaders Westfield on 19 points if they come away from Waltham Abbey with victory.

Hanwell Town go into the little break well-placed. Both they and Tooting have won five from six but it’s Hanwell who are coming up on the inside - three victories back-to-back sees them up the heat as Chris Moore’s impact is felt.

There is a big game around the corner when a full league programme does return.

Second-place Hanwell meet Chalfont St Peter, who are fourth and breathing down the necks of the teams at the top.

The goalscoring charts make for interesting reading as well with three players locked on six goals each.

Hanwell’s Gareth Chendlik, Westfield forward Max Blackmore and Ware frontman Oluwaseun Akinsanya have all begin the season in fine fettle.

There’s plenty of Cup action for them to keep the goals coming in on Saturday.

The FA Trophy is back underway and two of the sides going great guns in the BetVictor Isthmian Central cross swords.

Hanwell go to Harlow, who are in the play-off places after a very steady start.

Bracknell Town like many are dreaming of glory, they take on Coggeshall. Chalfont welcome Whitstable while FA Vase winners Chertsey Town hope to get on Wembley way once more - they take a trip to Faversham.

There’s also Velocity Trophy action as well as South Park face Whyteleafe.
